SLIDE ‘N’ HIDE RETRACTABLE INSECT SCREEN
Have your breath taken away over and over again. NuView’s patented, award winning, Retractable Slide N’ Hide Insect Screen disappears into the window’s frame when it’s not in use. Without a screen, your windows can offer unhindered views, better energy efficiency and 50% more natural light.
Slide N Hide is the only retractable screen system that’s integrated into the window’s frame at the time of manufacturing and is not an add on system. Its roll-away design, prevents the build-up of dirt and allergens and makes the screen easier to clean and operate. In the event it ever does need replacing, it’s as simple as ordering a new cartridge through the mail. You simply snap it in place. HI FLO DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The Hi Flo drain eliminates the build up of water through an automatic trigger that lets water escape from the window’s frame while simultaneously preventing air draft and insect penetration. Unlike other drainage weepers, which are made of nylon, HI-Flo is made from polycarbonate, which prevents swelling from water build-up that causes other weeper doors to malfunction. By preventing the buildup of water all of NuView’s products are able to maintain the energy-efficient performance they were designed to create.
DURALITE WARM EDGE SPACER TECHNOLOGY
Within our fully customizable glass units lies a mix of rich technology that ensures optimal performance through the harshest of weather conditions. It starts with the Duralite Warm Edge Spacer which is constructed through a revolutionary process that laminates 6 individual components to create one composite structure. The sightline stiffener, insulating chambers, and non metallic stiffener work to create a unit entirely impermeable to gas and water vapor while the bond line adhesive unifies the subassembly making the entire glass unit completely resistant to water penetration and UV degradation. CAM AND MULTI POINT LOCKS
Our Cam and Mulit-Point Lock Technology have helped us achieve the highest security rating for a residential window in North America. The American Architectural Manufacturers Association awarded NuView’s Brilliance series with a forced entry resistance of Grade 40 and an overall performance rating of R50. These ratings are equal to those of a non-operating window. Because we produce all of our components in-house, we’ve been able to integrate our locks into the window’s physical hardware system, which has resulted in unprecedented strength. The extra deep engineered resin shoot bolt keys that reinforce the sash and frame locks are all integrated inside header and sill plates of the sash, making the windows virtually tamper proof. Depending on size, each window has between 1 & 5 locks, and easily resists the hand, tool, and load manipulation techniques commonly used by intruders.

Energy Blind Technology is a new add-on feature that is available through select dealers.
